Position Summary:

Kuby Renewable Energy Ltd. is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee and drive the successful execution of our renewable energy projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of renewable energy systems and a proven track record of managing complex projects to completion. This role requires strong technical expertise and a passion for sustainable energy solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the full lifecycle management of renewable energy projects, from initiation to closeout.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, and monitor progress throughout the project duration.
• Coordinate and collaborate with internal management, field staff, and subcontractors to ensure effective resource allocation and timely project delivery.
• Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize potential issues.
• Conduct regular project status meetings, provide progress updates, and address any project-related concerns.
• Respond to escalated project issues that may impede project delivery and coordinate solutions.
• Ensure adherence to project specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage project documentation, including contracts, permits, and technical documentation.
• Foster strong relationships with clients and subcontractors, providing excellent customer service and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to renewable energy project management.
• Other duties as required.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Management (Foreman or Supervisor) experience.
• Valid class 5 driver’s license with a clean abstract.
• Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
• Journeyperson electrician ticket.
• Familiarity with the solar energy industry in Alberta & BC.
• Residential & Commercial building electrical knowledge.

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP designation (or working towards).
• Degree or Diploma in a field related to project management.
• Solar Specific Knowledge.

Pay:

$70,000 - $90,000 per year
