I've been working on building up my global network of VMs, which I host my CDN and various apps on for family. I've just brought on a node in New Zealand.

Now, I have presence in these locations:

  1. Ottawa
  2. Montreal
  3. Toronto
  4. Vancouver
  5. NYC
  6. California
  7. United Kingdom
  8. Amsterdam
  9. Germany
  10. Finland
  11. Switzerland
  12. Sweden
  13. Russia
  14. Singapore
  15. New Zealand
  16. Iceland

Now I've got much better peering and latency for NZ traffic!

My CDN is mainly serving static files, however, I'm getting into more distributed computing projects, so it will be fun to see where I can take this.

Next, I'm intended to get these locations with presence:

  1. Romania
  2. China
  3. Israel
  4. Brazil

I'd also like to expand my network capacity across these nodes, most have 1Gbit unmetered dedicated ports, however some like Toronto have numerous 10G ports. By the end of this year I want to be entirely on 10G globally. This will be awesome!
